In August 2021, we are in a difficult situation as before. We have decided to partially change the form of The Ninth Scientific Meeting of Japan Association for Simulation-based Education in Healthcare Professionals  (JASEHP) , based on a comprehensive judgment of the increase in the number of new and severe cases caused by the novel coronavirus delta mutant strain, changes in the coefficient of infection spread, the severe medical supply system, and the government's request to the public to refrain from moving. The Ninth Scientific Meeting of Japan Association for Simulation-based Education in Healthcare Professionals  (JASEHP)  focused on medical education and ultimately engages in academic activities to contribute to the health and welfare of people in the society, and widely around the world. We believe that sharing academic outcomes is an important part of this mission. With advice from Dr. Toshiya Suzuki of the Japan Society of Simulation Medical Education, Prof. Komasawa of Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University, and Dr. Asada of Jichi Medical University, the President has decided to partially change the format of the academic conference scheduled for Saturday, October 23, 2021.

On October 23, 2021, the Japan Society for Simulation and Medical Education will be held in a hybrid format. Based on the face-to-face method, we will add on-demand participation.
